Congratulations to Savannah Harrison and Sarah Brannigan from First Tee – Metropolitan New York at the Mosholu Campus in The Bronx!

Savannah Harrison has been selected for First Tee National – Participant Advisory Council !

We are proud of you Savannah for serving on PAC!    The purpose of the Participant Advisory Council (PAC) is to advise First Tee Headquarters’ decision-makers on matters pertinent to First Tee participants. It is critical for youth to be heard, and as such, in this space within the PAC, we will be creating opportunities for youth to express themselves, voice their ideas, and provide input for projects or programs that will impact the experience of all First Tee participants.

The PAC will consist of a diverse group of 8 current First Tee participants, along with 2 alumni who will serve as advisors for the program.

Savannah will represent First Tee – Metropolitan New York and others at PAC meetings and give honest and professional counsel to Headquarters on various agenda topics.  Participants will communicate effectively, giving accurate information and explanation of details, and allow all members of the group to communicate ideas.

Sarah Brannigan (Eagle level) has been chosen to join the GenZ Council !

Well done Sarah for being selected with a few other high school and college-aged golfers to lend your voice to the nationwide efforts for the future of golf’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts through the GenZ Council.

GenZ Council is a partnership with:  First Tee, PGA Jr. League, LPGA Girls Golf and Youth on Course. Sarah will; attend monthly web-based meetings, contribute to discussions about various DEI related projects, opportunities, and areas of development and occasionally take on GenZ Council for Equality in Golf-based assignments.
