First Tee

of Metropolitan New York

First Tee Met New York is Moving Forward.  Campuses re-opened on July 13th.  We worked non-stop to establish safety protocols and procedures and it is GREAT to see our kids….and their masks!   A big thank you to First Tee Met New York families for staying active and engaged over these past months by participating in the programs, lessons and activities developed by our Program Directors via FIRST TEE ONLINE.  We made the most of our time and created an amazing inventory of videos for our participants to use and enjoy forever!   C19 forced us to cancel fundraising activities which raise critically needed funds to deliver programs and services.  Please consider contributing to First Tee Met New York and help us to continue moving forward!  DONATE HERE    THANK YOU!

Nine Core Values

Players learn values like honesty and responsibility by calling penalties on themselves and reporting their own score. By participating in First Tee, youth are introduced to Nine Core Values which are incorporated throughout the program.

More than a game

85% of alumni say First Tee helped them become a better student.

At First Tee, kids and teens are learning to play golf along with life lessons and leadership skills. And it’s making a difference. Our programs are positively impacting youth, their families and their communities.

Getting started

Who can play?

First Tee offers group lessons to youth up to age 18 regardless of background or previous experience. Our coaches are trained to make kids feel comfortable and assure they have a positive, non-intimidating experience. All we ask is young people come with an open mind and positive attitude.
